Job description

As part of our growth, we are looking for an experienced WBG Epitaxy Engineer to support the development of semiconductor devices. The engineer will join the advanced materials team and be responsible for developing epitaxy processes. You will work closely with process engineering and device teams. You will actively contribute to the development, optimization,and characterization of epitaxial structures that meet component specifications. You will be responsible for continuous process improvement, drift analysis, and productivity enhancement. You will also participate in basic equipment maintenance and contribute to technical documentation and intellectual property development.

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and optimize epitaxial structures to meet material specifications.  
  • Propose and execute work plans for epitaxial growth.  
  • Optimize characterization processes, analyze product drifts, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and yield.  
  • Contribute to basic maintenance of the epitaxy reactor.  
  • Participate in the characterization of epitaxial layers.  
  • Document work and present results in technical meetings.  
  • Contribute to intellectual property development.  

Job requirements

  • Engineering degree or PhD in materials science with a strong foundation in semiconductor physics, or a physics engineer specialized in microelectronics.  
  • 3–5 years of experience in epitaxy.   
  • Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.  
  • Autonomy, rigor, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.  
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
